The Six Steps to Buying a Property
- Step 1: Determine your budget and find the property you wish to purchase.
- Step 2: Contact the team at Red Tree for advice. Red Tree will review the Contract of Sale and Section 32 and let you know of any concerns.
- Step 3: You, the purchaser, sign the contract and pay the required deposit. Arrange any applicable building and pest inspections reports, and ensure your loan is approved.
- Step 4: In the lead-up to settlement, we take care of searches and enquiries (all included in our fixed price), transfer preparation, arrange stamp duty claims if applicable, liaising with your lender, as well as arranging settlement adjustments and settlement bookings.
- Step 5: Settlement day! We work behind the scenes in Step 4 to make sure settlement is smooth sailing.
- Step 6: Once settlement is complete, we call you and say congratulations! We will also notify authorities while you get to collect keys and enjoy your new home!
